New monkey enclosure designed by Proctor Matthews Architects.
The 1:200 scale model was to show the proposed new enclosure to house the monkeys in Chester Zoo in a natural tropical environment including all the suitable trees and foliage. The complex roof structure was made by vacuum forming over a hand carved mould approx 800mm x 400mm. The roof was removable to reveal the interior details.
