In our industry, creating often means cutting, trimming, and shaping, which inevitably results in waste. However, one person’s waste can become another person’s treasure. As we continue to strive for responsible waste management, we’ve discovered a fantastic solution, and that is partnering with the Watford Recycling Art Project (WRAP).

Founded in 1995, WRAP is a registered charity dedicated to recycling and repurposing ethically sourced commercial waste for creative purposes. As part of the national scrap store network “REUSEFUL,” WRAP’s inspirational volunteers conduct various workshops for schools and community groups taking a variety of materials and upcycling to create art and crafts. These workshops are designed not only to recycle waste but also to raise environmental awareness through the arts.

Given that our daily work intersects with numerous creative industries, collaborating with WRAP feels like a natural fit.

The volunteers play a vital role in WRAP’s operations, offering their time and skills to support the mission. Their contributions spread crucial awareness about the importance of recycling and waste management.

The potential of community-driven initiatives in addressing environmental challenges is huge and by sharing resources, and working towards common goals, we can make significant progress in reducing waste and mitigating its impact on our planet.

Recycle today, and together, we can save tomorrow.
